Terms of Service

sourcebeam provides website analytics — a tracking script you add to your website and a dashboard to view the collected data. We also provide an API for programmatic access to your analytics data.

We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, deploy updates, or experience outages. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use sourcebeam.

You agree not to:

Use sourcebeam to track websites you do not own or have authorization to track. Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the sourcebeam tracking script or dashboard. Use the service to collect personal data beyond what sourcebeam is designed to collect. Interfere with or disrupt the service, including sending excessive or automated requests designed to overload our systems. Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the service without our written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

sourcebeam pricing starts at $5/month. Additional usage may be billed on a pay-as-you-go basis, as described on our pricing page.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for your subscription and any applicable usage-based charges. Charges are calculated based on actual usage and reported to Stripe periodically.

We may change our pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not affect the free tier.

You own your analytics data. We do not claim ownership of the data collected through your websites. You can export your data at any time through the API.

We may use aggregated, anonymized data (e.g., total events processed across all customers) for operational purposes such as capacity planning and service improvement. This data cannot be tied to any individual account or website.

sourcebeam is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, sourcebeam shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You may cancel your account at any time. Upon cancellation, your access to the dashboard and API will end immediately. Your analytics data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion.

We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination, except in cases of severe abuse.
